Yesterday I found out my one son got into a fight at school. I got a text from him tell me he was in a fight and the next text was, "He swung first". That's because he knows my stand on fighting. I told him that better be the case. Some other student had it on video and it was clear, they other kid swung first. No serious injuries on either end.
Nothing has come of it so far but it's a matter of time until the school finds out. The School's policy is both students get 3 days out of school suspension. Also the kid who videoed it will get a day OSS also.
The schools are so detached from reality it's sickening. Oh and fuuk off with the replies of , "It's not the schools responsibility to (fill in the blank). They don't get to pick and choose what morals they want to enforce. They push their LBGT and anti gun shit down the throat of our youth but tell them they are not to defend themselves? Defending oneself is a basic instinct, it doesn't need to be taught and sure as hell should not be suppressed.
Above all, the school policy teaches and promotes injustice. Where in any other place would the attacker and defender receive the same punishment? Back in my day the Principle asked one question, "Who through the first punch". They can try all they want but I'm raising fine young men and they are not going to grow a VJJ because of some lazy ass uninformed principle who is trying to enforce an ill-thought-out school policy.
